Illinois Bell an Americech Co. payphone from the Chicago area. It still sports it's original green finish. Made by Western Electric as a 1A. It was upgraded over the years with a 1D type chassis and a Lucent coin chute. Western Electric became Lucent after the breakup. Original gray handset. 29A-22 upper lock, 30C vault lock.
